A Most Hospitable Hostel

On arrival in Cusco the owners, Cesar & Lida, were so kind as to pick me up from the coach stop personally and drive me to the hostel, pointing out places of interest as we went – at no cost! During my week-long stay the staff were always pleasant and helpful and Lida helped arrange my travel plans to Machu Picchu, securely looking after my excess baggage while I visited the ruins. My rooms were always clean and comfortable. The hostel is an old building with much charm, the rooms situated around a central courtyard where breakfast (coffee, bread and jam) is served. 10 minutes from the Plaza de Armas but I always felt safe walking back at night. For the price I can’t fault this place! My thanks to everyone there for making my time in Cusco scer.
